Live map
Every vehicle now, with follow mode and status colours.
Live shows every vehicle that has reported in the last two minutes. Positions arrive over a live connection; there is nothing to refresh.
Reading the map
| Colour | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Moving | Speed above the movement threshold (3 km/h by default) |
| Amber | Idling | Engine on, not moving (needs an ignition signal) |
| Grey | Stopped | Not moving; engine off or unknown |
| Red | No fix | The tracker reports but has no GPS lock |
Click a marker or a row in the panel for speed, heading, last update, device and protocol. Follow keeps that vehicle centred as it moves; panning the map by hand is always respected otherwise.
Why a vehicle disappears
A vehicle with no update for two minutes leaves the map rather than staying where it was: a stale dot that looks live is worse than no dot. It returns with its next position, and the map flies to it if it lands out of view.
The panel
Filter by plate or IMEI. The count at the top is the number of vehicles currently reporting, and the badge shows the state of the live connection.
